Our November 2025 contest issue is centered around the theme of truth-telling. Truth in media. Truth in personal memories and history books. Half-spoken and multifaceted truths. How truth is stolen, and how it is reclaimed.
Angeline Boulley joined us as our special guest judge. A member of the Sault Ste. Marie Tribe of Chippewa Indians, Angeline is a storyteller and #1 New York Times best-selling author who writes about her Ojibwe community.
We happily continued our partnership with Compassiviste Publishing, a nonprofit publishing house dedicated to social and environmental justice.
To everyone who dared to dream and share your voice with us—congratulations and thank you for being here. It has been an honor.
